This is for a Gaia Art competition. Where I could draw several things. The on I picked was to draw the host in her favourtie costume, her alice dress. x)
This is late, but I hope i can get in. xD
Anyway, this took waaaaay too long for my liking. =.=
Comments and critisism welcome. :3

character: chemie_chan
sketch: me
lineart: me
colour and shading: me xD
ooohhhhh I love the colouring!!!! She's so cute >w<
Sorry crit time~~~~ you knew it was coming, didn't you!
First of all - anatomy. Her shoulders are too droopy at the ends, but her hands are great and so are her arms. Her lower legs are also disturbingly thin; and her upper legs don't seem to be connected to her bum and torso. Just make sure you sketch the body properly underneath the skirt... it's easy to forget! The face is quite good, except the line joining her chin and her neck (does that make sense?) should be bent down not up, and her head's a little flat (not so much that it's really obvious though)
Actually that's all for crit. I love the background, especially the .... spoons? XD;;; I can't tell but they're funky. HUZZAH FOR BACKWARDS PI CLOCKS!!!!!!!!!!! aaaaah brings out the maths nerds in all of us!
Anyway I shall end this freakishly long comment right here XD;; Very nice job!!!!

The only thing I can see that is wrong with this peice is how the legs flow at the end, it seems you either gave up or got tired at that point in the drawing.
It's a great picture though, and I love how the colors melt and the picture flows.
lol, well, mine's just a boring ordinary character :/
no special powers, no real attributes xD
i just ending up testing myself to see whether i can keep drawing the same person from different angles :/
it's harder than it looks xD

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
